Major Atom Chestermere Gold Medal Champions - Peace Country Selects - June 4 - 6 2010.

During the round robin game against the Kamloops Ice Pirates, the Peace Country Selects trailed by 2 goals after the first period only to tie it up in the second. They fell behind by a goal again in the third and then kicked it into overdrive when #20 Logan M scored to tie and then #91 Dawson P scored the game winning goal.  The two teams met up again for a nailbiting Gold medal final.  Peace Country was once again trailing but with less then 3 minutes left in the game #19 Darby B scored the miraculous game tying goal.  Unable to settle the score in regulation time, the game was sent into a shoot out.  Several shots and saves later,  #77 Sam M from the Peace County Selects tucked one in earning the Gold Medal for Peace Country!  A Great game and effort by all.  Congratulations Selects!

Since Canmore is a tourist destination for skiiers, hikers, mountain bikers, trail walkers/bikers, etc.   The hotel facilities are hard to team book.  Top Guns has been given  80 rooms to be used at the Prestigious Quality Resort Chateau in Canmore.   Rates at this Chateau vary based on season rates. (Before May Long Weekend, After May Long Weekend, and Summer Rates are in effect for our usage).  I have taken on the duty to lock in the rooms as of January 1, 2010.   You must have each parent register for their room individually (linking to the team name, to ensure that you are all put together as best as possible).   Parents are to pay for their room(s) immediately upon registration.    This way we all have rooms to please our teams, parent(s), grandparent(s),  players, coaches, and definitely the Managers.  See the Hotel Information located on the LEFT SIDE OF THIS TOPGUNS WEBPAGE for further details and costs.
