Spring 2019 Monday-Thursday
Pond Hockey is a Recreation NON-Contact league based on fast paced, full ice hockey game played with small numbers of players. This ensures that each participant gets lots of ice, a good workout and a vast amount of development in his/her game play. The Springbank Twin arenas are being utilized for for this league.
The focus of the pond hockey league will be to advance their hockey skills
through game play and provide a fun, social and family
atmosphere for all. The basis of development for each of the Top Guns 3
on 3 pond hockey teams will be a blend of warm up and league play
between April and the end of June. Each ice time will consist of a
10-minute WARMUP, followed by a fast paced 3 on 3 Pond hockey league
The rules of our 3 on 3 Pond Hockey League support the philosophy of
continuous play, fast aggressive skating, fast puck movement, individual
player creativeness and great goaltender showdowns.
On busy days when schedules with other sports occur request a sub to
play pond hockey for you! (must be on the sub list to be insured)
Program consists of:
12 skaters (RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING BACKUP IF SICK)
1 goaltender (RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING BACKUP IF SICK)
Each session consists of 10 minutes of WARMUP and 50 minutes
of 3 on 3 Pond Hockey Game
20 sessions per season - averaging 2 sessions per week
(ice schedule permitting)
League jersey, T-Shirt and Helmet Stickers supplied
players will be grouped into appropriate levels to make it
competitive for all players
Qualified hockey skill developers will conduct each session
Players of Div 1 or 2 levels must register in division above as an underage
Players can request to be seated with specific players/buddies within the
same division but may be asked to play with the opposing team to ensure
Novice - 8 spots available
Atom - 8 spots available Peewee - Full to Capacity - register for waiting list
Bantam - Full to Capacity - register for waiting list
Entry Fee is $585 (GST Included)
REMEMBER, you can either enter players from your winter team, or enter
a fun summer team, or even get a few friends together and come out to
experience the thrill and excitement.
***** Subs can be registered online for player replacement (sickness, holidays, etc) To get your player on the sub list, use the link for Sub Registration to your left.
Sub Registration ARE open FOR REGISTRATION, Subs will be issued a punch card with 6 game limit per registration. These are non-transferable due to insurance reasons.

The Canada Cowboys are pleased to invite players born in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, and 2001 to an exciting once in a life time opportunity to tour excursions and play hockey in prestigious Europe. Scandinavia Tour will be available to 2004-2009 born players (itinerary for Estonia, Sweden, and Finland). Central European Tour will be available to 2011-2001 born players. (Itinerary for Austria, Italy and Czech Republic).
The highlights and itinerary of each tour will be emailed to those interested. Email email@example.com stating birth year, position, player name for your request for information.
The tour is scheduled for the middle of summer 2019 with a pre departure camp located in Canmore from July 20-26 (for team bonding both on and off ice).

Top Guns 2019 AAA Tournament
2019, we are continuing to host our tournaments in the scenic and relaxing mountain town of Canmore, Alberta.
You will have the Honour of staying in Canmore at our Host Hotels at a much reduced rate so that you can enjoy great hockey and still go sightseeing at a very reasonable rate.
Enjoy our stress free tournament which runs out of 1 arena, with the hotels 5 minutes from the Canmore Arena.
(leave the big city traffic and hassles behind).
The downtown core of Canmore offers the ultimate Artisan Boutique shopping experience for all ages and genders.
(Yes it has the ultimate Candy Shop).
3 - 20 Minute Periods Stop Time Games consisting of 2 hour time slots, 5 games guaranteed (6 team draw). Final Game to Finish by 5:00 pm on Sundays to allow safer and convenient travel back home. Online schedule to be posted in November (link to left) for your specific age group.
The Top Guns AAA Spring Tournament is an annual event which takes place in Mid April, May and June each year.
(each age group is hosted on different weekends). The arenas are being upgraded this year and we will have access to both Alex Kaleta and Thelma Crowe arenas up to April 19. From April 19 forward the tournaments will only be run out of Thelma Crowe.
6 Teams per tournament (no expansions this year as ice is our limitation). 2 hour stop time games with a flood after every 2nd period.

This is a great deal for the Canmore area as you know, it is only 13 minutes from the Famous Banff Alberta.
Each tournament will host an All-Star Lineup, Participant Custom T-shirts, Individual Game MVP Awards, Champion Trophy with Custom Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.
We will only host 6 teams per tournament maximum, so make sure you register and get in before it fills. On April 20-22 only There will be two tournaments offered simultaneously (GOLD on Alex Kaleta and SILVER on Thelma Crowe both arenas are in the same Canmore Recreation building).
Cheques are to be mailed to Top Guns, PO Box 43144, Deer Valley RPO, Calgary, Alberta T2J 7A7. Cheques to be sent (POST DATED JAN 1, 2019) immediately for $475. All Cheques payable to Top Guns Hockey. $475 Deposit will lock in your team until January 1, 2019, at which point the remaining $2000 will be due by January 15, 2019.
